Chilly Garlic Chicken Grill

Wanted to enjoy some flavourful grill but not a very spicy one so took this inspiration from seafood and created a greatly flavoured chicken grill which was easy to satisfy my taste buds. You require very few ingredients also to make it.

Ingredients

  • Chicken whole with skin
  • Butter – 2 tbsp
  • Garlic – 12 cloves
  • Green chilly – 8 pcs
  • Pepper – 1 tsp freshly crushed
  • Carrot – 2 nos
  • Onion – 1 nos
  • Potatoes – 3 nos
  • Buttermilk – 2 tbsp (optional)
  • salt

Instructions:

Firstly wash the chicken and pat dry it using a kitchen towel.

Now in a blender jar put garlic,chillies,half onion and 2 tbsp of water and make a paste.

Simple Chicken Curry.

This is a simple recipe basically my own way of preparing Chicken. Actually in India every family has their own way of cooking and today am gonna share my way of cooking with you.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken – 500gms
  • Green chillies – 3 slit from middle
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • Onion – 3 pcs
  • Tomato – 3 pcs medium
  • Kashmiri Chilly – 7 pcs
  • Cumin/ zeera powder – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  • Corriander powder – 2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder – 1tsp
  • Kastoori Methi – 1 large Pinch
  • Sauf /fennel seed powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Cooking oil – 3 tbsp

Ingredients:

  • Chicken – 800 gms
  • Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp
  • Brown onion paste – 1.5 tbsp
  • Red chilly paste – 1.5 tbsp
  • Tomato puree – 400 ml
  • Cashew almonds paste – 1 tbsp
  • Corriander powder – 2 tsp
  • Cumin powder – 2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
  • Cream – 2 tbsp
  • Muaturd oil – 2tbsp
  • Curd – 2 tbsp
  • Hot charcoal – 1 pc
  • Ghee – . 5 tsp
  • Fried onions for garnish
  • Chopped corriander leaves for garnishment.

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl put the chicken pieces. I have used chicken with skin as I feel it adds flavors and to it add hung curd, chilly paste, corriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, salt and a tbsp of musturd oil. Ingredients:

  • Whole chicken: 800 gms
  • Onion – 1 large fry it and grind it.
  • Boiled Tomatoes – 3 nos
  • Ginger Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • Cumin Powder – 3tsp
  • Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
  • Red chilly Powder – 3 tsp
  • Corriander Powder – 2 tsp
  • Curd – 2tbsp
  • Cashew paste – 2 tbsp
  • Zaffran essence- 1 drop
  • Saffron milk – 1 tsp

Ingredients:

  • Chicken Keema : 200gms
  • Whole wheat flour dough
  • Cheese sheets or grated cheese

Instructions:

  • Knead the wheat flour in a soft dough using water and salt and leave it to rest for 30 mins.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken Mince /keema – 500 gms
  • Onion – 2 large finely chopped
  • Capsicum green – 1 pc finely chopped
  • Carrot – 2 pc chopped finely
  • Green chillies – 3 pcs finely chopped
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • Red chilly powder – 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder – 1 TSP

  • Boiled spaghetti – Handful
  • Onion – 1 large cut in cubes
  • Green capsicum- 1/2 chopped
  • Red capsicum- 1/2 chopped

Tandoori chicken

Ingredients:

  • Whole chicken – 1
  • Red chilly powder – 2 tbsp
  • Cumin powder- 1 tbsp
  • Corriander powder – 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp
  • Curd – 1 cup
  • Salt
  • Oil 1 tbsp

Instructions:

  • Wash the chicken thoroughly and pat dry it.  In a bowl put ginger garlic paste, red chilly powder, coriander powder, salt and a pinch of garam masala.

  • Then add curd and oil to it and mix well.

  • Once you mix it will form a nice thick paste.

  • Apply this paste well on the chicken inside out. And tie the chicken legs.

  • Marinate the chicken for an hour. For proper marination put the chicken in the refrigerator for an hour after applying the paste.

  • After an hour take it out of the refrigerator and place it in the oven at 200 degrees for 50 mins. Once done it’s ready to serve.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken breast – 500gms
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • Chana dal – 1cup
  • Green chilly – 3 pcs
  • Kashmiri red chilly – 2 PCs
  • Red onion – 3 medium sized
  • Peppercorn – 8 PCs
  • Javitri – 1 PCs
  • Cinnamon sticks- 2 inch
  • Bay leaves – 2 PCs
  • Shahjeera – 1 tsp
  • Salt
  • Cooking oil

Instructions:

  • Firstly wash the chicken properly and cut them into cubes. Also rinse the chana dal before using it.

  • Now take a pressure cooker and in that pour 1 tbsp of oil and to it add the shahjeera,  cinnamon stick, bay leaves,  pepper corn  javitri and green chillies. Slit the green chilly from between.
